Something To Trot About
Positive Reinforcement works for all animals. Traditionally, horses are trained using negative reinforcement or positive punishment. Join me while I talk about training choices I make with my new Arabian colt as well as with dogs. As a Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant, my approach with little Zephyr is much different than it was with my older mare. The Horses
Shea is a 20 year old Morgan with a foundation in dressage, but with many many trail miles. I bought her as a 3 yr old and started her with more traditional methods.
Zephyr is a yearling Arabian. My goal is for him to become my trail and all around horse when he grows up and when Shea starts to wind down. I am starting him very slowly with trust, positive reinforcement, and with developing calm optimism as a top priority. I'm very excited for his future!
